This June, Hôtel des Arts Saigon is delighted to reintroduce the vibrant flavors of Korean cuisine to Saigon Kitchen with the return of Korean Spice — a special gourmet week celebrating the rich culinary heritage of Korea.
As part of the hotel’s ongoing commitment to bringing world-class dining experiences to local guests, Korean Spice is organized in collaboration with Hotel Naru – MGallery Seoul. The event features two renowned guest chefs: the seasoned and passionate Chef Moon Jeong Seok, and the talented rising star Chef Danny Lee. Taking place from June 19 to June 29, this 10-day celebration invites diners on an authentic Korean culinary journey, beautifully woven with a variety of international flavors — all within the refined, cozy setting of Saigon Kitchen.
With nearly 20 years of experience in the culinary industry, Chef Moon Jeong Seok carries a deep passion for Korean cuisine. Throughout his career, he has continuously strived to innovate and promote the essence of his homeland’s culinary heritage to a global stage. Accompany with Chef Moon in this journey, talented young Chef Danny Lee will join hand in create and deliver an inspiring gastronomic journey that transports diners to the heart of Korea. A varity of Korean delicacies will be miticulious captivate and presented by two talented guest chefs, bring the gourmets an exiciting experience, that feels both familiar and uniquely refined, such as: the fresh sense of Ganjang Gejang (Soy Sauce Marinated Crab) featuring rich, and savory with a subtle spicy kick from signature Korean spices, or delightful Mulhoe bring the lightly blanched octopus with a sweet, refreshing flavor complemented by a touch of wasabi, the signature flvour of Yukhoe will also enchant gourmet taste bud with a refined and refreshing dish of tender beef tartare, enriched with the creaminess of egg yolk and the natural sweetness of Korean pear.
