Tiffany & Co. has once again redefined the boundaries of high jewellery with the unveiling of its Blue Book 2025 collection, Sea of Wonder — a mesmerising ode to the ocean’s majesty. Designed under the creative direction of Nathalie Verdeille, Chief Artistic Officer of Jewellery and High Jewellery, the collection embarks on a surreal voyage, celebrating the allure, rhythm, and enigma of the deep sea.
“Each piece in Sea of Wonder captivates and invites us to lose ourselves in the storytelling,” says Verdeille. “It’s a journey through the ocean’s uncharted depths, reflecting both the treasures of the natural world and the pioneering spirit of Tiffany & Co. since 1837.” Drawing from the legacy of legendary designer Jean Schlumberger, the collection pays tribute to his fascination with marine life while reinterpreting archival inspirations through a modern lens.
The collection opens with Ocean Flora, a chapter that evokes the image of an underwater garden. Among its standout pieces is a breathtaking necklace featuring Zambian emeralds, capturing the lush vibrancy of aquatic plant life. Next is The Seahorse, where Schlumberger’s iconic 1968 brooches are reimagined with fluted moonstones and an intricate array of coloured gemstones—zircons, sapphires, and more—blending elegance with contemporary complexity.
Sea of Wonder also introduces dynamic transformable pieces. The Sea Turtle pendant morphs into a brooch, symbolising the creature’s journey from land to sea, while the Starfish chapter deconstructs the graceful form into celestial-inspired designs. These pieces showcase unenhanced rubies from Mozambique, rose-cut and pavé diamonds, all set in 18k yellow gold and platinum.
A highlight of the collection is The Urchin chapter, which revives Schlumberger’s mastery of the 19th-century Paillonné enamelling technique. This delicate process creates a thorny, textured effect that captures the sea’s iridescent magic. The Urchin Fancy Intense Yellow Diamond pieces—necklace, earrings, and ring—feature stunning yellow diamonds exceeding 18 carats, masterfully set in platinum and yellow gold.
The collection crescendos with The Wave, a tribute to the ocean’s dynamic power. Here, sculptural pieces emulate crashing waves with dramatic precision. The Wave Necklace—with over 17 carats of blue cuprian elbaite tourmalines and more than 10 carats of diamonds—echoes the form and movement of the sea, a nod to Schlumberger’s celebrated Leaves Necklace.

“With Sea of Wonder, we dive into the ocean’s hidden realms to uncover the extraordinary,” says Tiffany & Co. “It’s a tribute to the unexplored—a reminder that nature’s most beautiful secrets often lie beneath the surface.”
