Following her world debut at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, Italian shipyard Rossinavi has shared the first interior images of its full-custom new build, Heed.
The 52.7-metre superyacht hit the water from the yard’s Pisa facilities in January this year, having remained highly secretive throughout construction, which, according to BOATPro, began in January 2024. Heed was constructed entirely in aluminium as a high-performance, fast-displacement build, featuring an exterior design by Alberto Mancini, interiors penned by Achille Salvagni Architetti and naval architecture by Arrabito Naval Architects.
The yard noted that she was born from a “close and energetic” relationship with her owner, who was represented by Matty Zadnikar of SeaNet SuperYachts.
Heed’s sculpted geometric profile is defined by clean architectural lines, balanced volumes and dynamic glazing; finished in a metallic grey hull, she has been drawn to “remain elegant at rest and dynamic underway”.
“Working within the 499GT threshold allowed us to rethink proportion and space with greater freedom,” explained Alberto Mancini. “Placing the owner’s suite forward on the upper deck creates a quieter, more intimate connection with the sea, while the metallic grey hull reveals the beauty of the yacht’s clean, sculpted surfaces through a delicate play of light and shadow throughout the day.”
Key living areas on board the custom build include an aft beach club with a pool and fold-down side platforms, a bright and contemporary fully glazed main saloon and a panoramic dining area on the main deck with a fold-down starboard balcony.
Forward of the upper deck is dedicated entirely to the owner, with a private suite leading to a spacious outdoor lounge and a pool with a counter-current. Above, an observation deck is designed as a lookout point for elevated views and a quiet space to relax.
In terms of the design, Achille Salvagni opted for “serene softness” as a running theme throughout Heed’s living areas, defined by blended curves, shaped forms and fluid lines, all intended to create an “almost dreamlike landscape”. Contrasting textures and tones have been used on board, from bleached wengé floors, bleached teak walls and dark eucalyptus “polished to an almost liquid 100-gloss finish” to metallic accents including copper, rose and deep red inspired by a Mediterranean sunset.
The furniture also follows a similar organic language, with sofas “unfold[ing] like waves”, armchairs dressed as pebbles and shells and sculptural details emerging from the walls. According to Salvagni, core to the design is the idea that luxury is defined by emotional comfort rather than abundance.
Salvagni explained: “I wanted the interior of this yacht to feel as though it had not been designed, but rather shaped by the forces that surround it – by water, wind, light and time. From the beginning, I was interested in creating a world suspended somewhere between the sea and the sky: an interior without rigidity, where architecture seems to lose its conventional boundaries and become something softer, more instinctive, almost alive.”
When it comes to technical details, Heed features an onboard battery system for operation at anchor with the generators switched off for a quiet and peaceful onboard experience. Key specs include a 9.1-metre beam and a draught of 2.5 metres.
“It has been an extremely stimulating project, one that will truly leave its mark on the market,” said Federico Rossi, chief operating officer of Rossinavi. “With generous open spaces, a panoramic owner’s cabin and a large pool, it is a yacht designed to be lived on, where functionality leads without compromising on style.”
